Full Time Vascular Sonographer
About our practice:
- Schedule- Monday- Friday 7:30 am-4 pm or 8 am-4:30 pm
- No weekends
- No call responsibilities

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic venous duplex and venous insufficiency ultrasound exams per office protocols.
- Maintains ultrasonography equipment throughout the office.
- When needed, will assist AVLC(s) providers with patient procedures and treatments.
- Liaison with AVLC(s) providers and patient PCPs with critical findings or as needed per office policy.
- Record significant medical history of patients and enter patient records into the EMR system.
- Maintain all records related to the ultrasound exam, such as pathology, daily logs, and patient charts.
- Responsible for applying for and providing necessary documentation for IAC accreditation.
- Manage quality assurance projects per IAC requirements
- Lead quality assurance meetings as required by IAC
- Recommend and write lab policies and procedures for venous duplex scans.
- Other duties as assigned by management or AVLC(s) providers.
Requirements:
The following skills are required or considered beneficial for this role:
- Successful completion of a diagnostic medial sonography program from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of two to four years of professional work experience as a sonographer is preferred.
- RVT preferred or obtained within two years of hire.
- CPR required.
- Demonstrates competencies and skills for the position, including organization skills, excellent communication, customer service, relationship development, and teamwork.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Experience with Electronic medical records preferred.
