Oluwafunmi Awonuga, MD, FACS

Dr. Oluwafunmi Awonuga is a board-certified general and vascular surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  After earning her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Awonuga completed her surgical training at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama, followed by a vascular surgical fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

With over a decade of experience in vascular surgery, she specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease, with expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr. Awonuga is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care, combining clinical excellence with compassion and education to empower patients in their treatment decisions. She believes that treating vein conditions is not just about improving circulation, but also about restoring comfort, confidence, and quality of life.
