Ambulatory Phlebectomy Treatment

There is no vein AVLC can't treat.
Ambulatory Phlebectomy

Ambulatory Phlebectomy is a procedure used to treat spider veins.

Ambulatory phlebectomy is a minimally invasive, outpatient procedure that removes superficial veins through a small, slit-like incision in the skin. Initially, the doctor will outline or mark the veins to be treated. After injecting local anesthesia into the skin, small incisions will be made and the veins will be surgically removed in segments.

Patients rarely report any pain during this procedure, and minimal discomfort following the procedure. The incisions made during the procedure are so small that they require no stitches. You will be required to wear compression stockings for 2-3 weeks, but you may return to most regular activities the day after the procedure.

AVLC put my initial fears of Sclerotherapy surgery at ease from the first time I met Dr. Heird. The surgery was quick and with almost no pain. The recovery period was much easier than expected as well.
